Boston Homes website completely redone.

The website of Boston Homes, a weekly real estate journal of GateHouse Media New England, has undergone a complete makeover.

The new website is mobile friendly, allowing visitors to locate open houses interactively via Google Maps on any mobile device.

Link Boston Homes provides open house and other real estate data for the niche prime real estate market in Boston’s neighborhoods.

The site incorporates the Boston Homes Blog, mortgage industry news and property ownership tips as well as original content specific to the Boston market by longtime managing editor Marilyn Jackson.

“Boston Homes features multi-million dollar homes and we wanted a site that would provide some ‘shock ‘n awe’ worthy of properties of that quality.” said web developer Jonathan Shubow, GateHouse.

“It had to seamlessly transition to any mobile device and utilize HTML5 technology. The new Boston Homes site does just that, and looks awesome on iPads.” Shubow said.

The website shares content with social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, email and newsletter subscriptions.

Realtors who advertise are taking advantage of a totally re-designed Showcase Home of the Week that leverages Homefinder.com’s “Single Property Webpage” products and Multiple Listing Service technology.

“Boston Homes: The Complete Guide” provides a comprehensive list of featured homes, open house listings and stories of spectacular sales and new developments.

Its new search tool helps potential buyers find homes in their price range, specifications and neighborhoods.
